Cottage sleeps 4-6 people.2 private bedrooms- 12 inch memory foam mattresses with mattress protectors in each room for an amazing night sleep. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans with speed switches for maximum comfort. Both bedrooms are equipped with alarm clocks, reading lights, USB charging stations for your electronics, nightstands and suitcase holders. One bedroom has a Queen sized bed and a closet and one bedroom has a Full sized bed and no closet.1 full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.Full Kitchen with fridge/freezer, glass top electric stove and oven with both bake and convection options, above the stove microwave, coffee maker with built in coffee bean grinder for true coffee lovers, heavy duty blender, tea kettle, small crock pot and a 4 slot toaster. All pots, pans, dishes, and cooking/eating utensils are available for your stay. Empty cabinet and empty drawers for your food storage. Kitchen table seats 4 along with an island area that seats an additional 2 people.Living room has a pull out couch with a Full sized bed with mattress protectors on it along with additional seating (the two red barrel chairs do need to be moved for the pull out bed to come out). 43" Flat screen Smart TV (ability to stream your Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime accounts) Or bring your firestick, Roku box, etc. to stream your own TV options from home. DVD player and a very nice selection of DVDs for both adults and children included. AM/FM Radio with AUX input and a USB charging station for your electronics located in the living room. The Living Room has a gas fireplace that only has the gas turned on to it in April and October to enjoy a fire inside. High speed, password secured Wi-Fi in the cottage for all your electronic needs and wants. This gives you the opportunity to work or do virtual schooling from the cottage if necessary (Zoom calls, Microsoft Teams calls with video are no problem with the internet!)Cottage has two glass/screen sliding doors (one off the kitchen and one off the living room) leading out to the deck and water which is great to let the sun and breezes in! The decks have nice comfortable cushioned deck furniture for your enjoyment and 2 handy deck boxes to stow the cushions when not in use.All windows have screens and blinds for both your enjoyment and privacy.The cottage is located on Upper Silver Lake which is an All-Sports Lake with an island located in the middle of the lake for exploration or a fun picnic. The lake has quiet no wake hours of 7:30pm-11am which is great for fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and paddle boating without all the traffic and wave commotion. Upper Silver Lake has a private boat launch available to you for bringing your own motorized boat or water toys and you can park them right in front of the cottage with prior notice to the owners and a small fee. Or feel free to use the paddle boats, 4 kayaks, and 2 standup paddleboards included with the cottage to explore the lake, many coves and the island. We also rent a small electric pontoon boat for an additional rental fee. The boat holds up to 6 people and/or 800 pounds. The cottage has an assortment of adult and youth sized life jackets. No infant life jackets are provided.Bask in the sun on the deck attached to the cottage or if you are a sand lover you have your own private sandy beach area with a 1.5 foot sea wall to enjoy along with another deck on the waters edge for watching the sunset, having meals, or enjoying a good book. Market umbrellas are provided for shade. A clothes line is also provided for hanging wet items out to dry.A Weber charcoal grill and Weber gas grill along with grill tools are provided for your grilling pleasure. The charcoal and lighter fluid will need to be provided by you.An outdoor fire pit and plastic Adirondack chairs are also provided for your enjoyment along with extending forks and Tonka toasters/pie makers for making food over the fire pit. Wood can be purchased locally or you can bring your own. Located on "Sandpiper Cove" on Upper Silver Lake. You can spend time playing in the water in front of the cottage without having to worry about fast watercraft or large wake close by you. The water has a sandy bottom in front of the cottage and it is shallow for playing and gradually gets deeper as you move further out away from the cottage. It is a perfect area for playing, swimming, fishing, floating on a raft, etc. There is a foam 5x6 swim platform/raft that is anchored in the water to enjoy and it is in front of the cottage as well for easy watching of the kids.The cottage has both heat and air conditioning along with multiple speed ceiling fans in each room for maximum comfort.You are only minutes away from all that Silver Lake has to offer. Very safe and family oriented neighborhood for walking and bike riding. Enjoy the popular Silver Lake sand dunes with various motorized and non motorized activities, Lake Michigan, Little Sable Point Lighthouse, and many many tourist attractions. Or head 15 minutes North on B-15 to Pentwater for a unique area rich with shops, restaurants, and more water to enjoy! 20 minutes away is Ludington with the historic House of Flavors ice cream shop. B-15 South offers a scenic drive along the lakeshore with fun stops along the way for local produce, wines, and Michigan made items. Do not forget to stop at Stoney Lake for tubing out to Lake Michigan which is only 10 minutes away! We have plenty of brochures and maps at the cottage for you to peruse to plan your week and familiarize yourself with the area and all it has to offer.Our cottage has been certified with Golden Township to be a rentable cottage for 6 occupants and as such we allow a maximum of 6 occupants (regardless of age of occupant) which must be identified on the rental agreement. Our property is patrolled routinely for compliance. We have plenty of parking for you to enjoy with 5-6 parking spots on our property with one extra long parking spot for a vehicle with a trailer with a sand toy/boat/etc. Our base rate listed on VRBO is for 4 occupants. The 5th and 6th occupant are an additional $15 each per night. ***You are responsible for bringing all needed towels and bed linens for your stay (bath, kitchen and beach towels, sheets, pillows, blankets, etc.) and any paper products desired (toilet paper, paper towel, paper plates, napkins, etc.)***Friday to Friday rental only in June, July and August. Will possibly consider Sunday-Friday rental depending on the week.No pets/animals of any kind allowed on the premises even for daytime invitees.NO SMOKING AT ALL ON PREMISES.
