Walk to Torch Lake / Sandbar in under 2 Minutes!! Situated across the road from Torch Lake, this house offers the perfect getaway with a public Torch Lake/sandbar access conveniently located less than a 2 minute walk down the road. It is also just minutes away from downtown Alden (2.2 miles) and Elk Rapids (13 miles).The house was remodeled in the spring of 2015 and now includes a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances: a stove, oven, dishwasher, and microwave. Located next to the kitchen is a dining area that seats up to 6 people. The living room, adjacent to the dining table, offers comfortable seating for family game nights and is also great for just relaxing. The master bedroom includes a queen sized bed as well as an attached walk-in closet and master bathroom. A second bedroom offers another queen sized bed and a third bedroom provides a full sized bed. There is also a washer and dryer located in the basement, right beside a foosball and ping pong table which are great for rainy days.Perhaps the best part of the house is out back. There is a romantic fire pit and lots of firewood for our guests. The fire pit is the perfect place for s'mores, camp songs, and ghost stories. A grill is provided for cookouts. The backyard leads right into the forest which offers miles of hiking trails to explore. Please note that this house is located in a residential neighborhood and we want to be respectful of our neighbors. The vacation home is intended for families who want to make life-long memories and not meant for loud parties.
