The 350 acre nature preserve is a spectacular place to walk, jog. or ride your bikes among the towering White Pines, and is right outside your backdoor. On this west side of the lake, you will be protected from prevailing winds and enjoy the beautiful sunrises each morning. Your family will love the flat, sandy, 200ft beach for playing, shallow water for swimming, relaxing on the spacious dock and campfires at night. End each day by gazing at the thousands of stars in the dark Michigan sky above you.This home is located within 15-20 miles from Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Mackinac Island. These towns provide wonderful shopping, entertainment. family activities, world-class golf, skiing and great restaurants. Those who want to cross the Mackinac Bridge and explore the Upper Peninsula. it is only a short drive away. The Great Lakes Shipweck Museum / Whitefish Point, Tequamenon Falls, and Soo Locks are popular day trips from the cottage. To the south, you'll also find Bay Harbor, Charlevoix and Traverse City which are exciting areas to explore.
