Walloon Lake Cottage, Boyne, Petoskey, Charlevoix Welcome to beautiful Northern Michigan! Whether you’ve been visiting here for years or have never been, this area has so much to offer for sight-seeing, activities, and making wonderful memories. Nestled in a perfectly central location is the quaint village of Walloon Lake. Our cottage sleeps 15, has many indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy, and is across the street from Walloon Lake with lake access. Launch one of our kayaks or paddle boards and enjoy summer up North.Come in the winter and enjoy your favorite snow sports. We are 10 minutes from Boyne Mountain. We have spent much time designing, building, and decorating this cottage with your family in mind. It is inviting and cozy with many different spaces where people can spend time together, and also separate spaces for relaxation and alone time. The entrance of the cottage has a large, covered porch with a swing and patio set. The main floor has a large family/living room with a sectional couch, sleeper sofa, 3 chairs, a fireplace, and big screen TV. This area leads to a fully stocked open kitchen with a keurig coffee bar. The dining room has two tables that will seat a total of 10 people. The main floor has a bedroom with a double bed. Across from the bedroom is a bathroom with a shower. Through the back slider is a covered deck with ample seating, and a covered patio with a propane grill and picnic table. The fenced-in backyard has a firepit, bean bag toss, a shed with kayaks, paddle boards, and life jackets. The upper level is full of custom touches that your family will love. The huge front suite features a King bed, TV, beautiful built-in bunks with privacy curtains, a daybed, a balcony with bistro table and chairs, and a private bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has a King bed, desk/workspace, TV, and entry to a spacious upper deck with lounge chairs and bistro furniture. The third bedroom is a kid’s paradise with a double bed, and custom built-in bunks with curtains and charging ports. This room also has a door that leads to the upper deck. The hallway bathroom has a tub/shower. Outside the bedrooms is a reading nook.The basement level has a Washer/Dryer and a game area with a couch, chairs, TV, Ping-Pong table, and a full size refrigerator. There are also ski and snowboard racks to hang your gear up after a fun day at Boyne Mountain. ***Note: Lake Access Point across the road is featured in the pictures. There are steps down to the water and we do not have a dock. The docks on either side are private property and should be avoided please. The access is best for launching our kayaks/paddle boards and swimming. For a better sandy beach area I recommend the short walk to the public beach (see my labeled satellite view picture). If you have a boat the public boat launch is also pointed out in the satellite view picture.
