Get away to northern MI at our historic East Jordan home just 15min to Boyne! Our historic "Main Street" home is full of character and charm. Guests find it great for a multi-family vacation and cozy enough for a couple's getaway. It's been in our family for decades and we stay here often so it is well-maintained and professionally cleaned after each stay. The Living Room is spacious with a 13’ ceiling and comfy seating for watching movies and napping. TV has Roku for logging into your own streaming accounts plus an assortment of DVDs. Sitting Room - Relax in our sitting room with a card game, chess or a variety of board games and puzzles for all ages. An exterior door opens to the corner porch, which is lighted at night and lovely for keeping cool in the summertime (no AC).Home has five bedrooms that will comfortably sleep up to 10 people. Two bedrooms on main floor with queen and double beds. Three bedrooms upstairs with twin beds or bunks.There is only one full bathroom (Sorry, only one toilet in this old house! That's how they did it in the 1800s.) It includes the original clawfoot tub w/ shower but an extra shower and sink vanity is located in the laundry room for convenience. Quirks - "This old house" has original wood floors, solid wood doors with original handles and a staircase that is creaky. The bathroom is in the center of the home and is a passageway from the kitchen to the middle bedroom. The master bedroom was originally a parlor room therefore there is no bedroom door. Curtains provide privacy from the sitting room. There is also no AC in the home - it is cooled the old-fashioned way but fans, newer windows in many rooms and the porch doors provide plenty of breeze.Outside: Large corner lot with parking space for up to 4 vehicles. Covered parking for two vehicles! Covered porches with seating and outdoor string lights for nighttime relaxation. The patio includes a gas grill, a chiminea fireplace, and an outdoor table w/ chairs in the summertime. A large city park is across Division Street behind the house and is great for playing catch with the dog! Downtown is just a five minute walk to cafes and the city marina!
