Quiet Property At The Foot of Glacier National Park Thank you for stopping by!The property is located approximately 15 minutes from both the St. Mary's & Many Glacier entrances of Glacier National Park. Located on the southeast side of Duck Lake with an incredible view of Chief Mountain and the Rocky Mountains. Duck Lake is a renowned "blue ribbon" trout fishery so bring your rod and remember to purchase the appropriate fishing license. The house can accommodate up to 10 based on the follow:- Master Bedroom 1: Queen bed (Sleeps 2)- Futon Bedroom 2: Queen bed and futon couch (Sleeps 4)- Bunkbed Bedroom 3: Queen bed and Double/Single Bunk (Sleeps 5)- Pull out couch on the main floor living room if neededHuge dining room table can seat seat a large group of 10-12. Sharing a big meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen is a perfect way to come together at the end of long day hiking in the Park.No need to worry about finding time for everyone to use the bathroom with 2 - 4 piece bathrooms (1 on each level). For those nights that you are looking to just relax on the couch you can enjoy the record collection, any number of board/card games or a large DVD selection.Looking to unplug??? This is the perfect place. While the property has a landline telephone there is no internet and limited cell reception.Take your time driving in on the gravel road, it does have pot holes. Welcome to the wild west.It is possible to have black fly hatches in the area in September. When they happen it affects all properties on the lake. If this is a no go, I would not recommend staying the East side of GNP in the fall.
