You'll find a small cottage community that shares a private beach and a nostalgic ideal of "Simple Lake Living". This vintage cottage has produced cherished family memories for decades and is now available for you to make memories of your own. Listen to waves of Lake Michigan as you sleep, grill on the large open deck, play frisbee in the large back yard, or roast marshmallows by the fire pit. Take a walk down the tree lined path down to the dune to a beautiful private beach. This is a charming and modest vintage cottage. If you're looking for stainless appliances and Pottery Barn furniture, this is not for you. If you want to trade in the electronics for a board game and prefer conversation to TV, Welcome to your Beach Cottage! Steps to the beach- Literally! This community is build up on a hill above the beach. There are 63 stairs, a combination of old steep concrete and wood. It's very close, but may offer some issues for those with mobility challenges. There is a five day minimum stay June -August.
