Everything in this lakefront home is brand new, from the floors to the bathrooms to the custom, fully stocked kitchen. Location, location, location! Sunset Bluff is perfectly located only five minutes from downtown St. Joseph, Harbor Shores, and popular Silver Beach, which is fantastic for families. Bring your boats and jet skis! There is plenty of parking on the oversized circle driveway. Please Note: there is NO BEACH ACCESS on the property due to the 300-foot bluff. However, there are four great beaches within five minutes, including Rocky Gap Beach less than a mile away, and Silver Beach in St. Joseph, the most popular beach in the area. The House: Set on two acres, the beach house property is peaceful and private. You'll fall asleep to the waves, listen to the seagulls, and watch the boats drift past. Or you might even catch sight of a bald eagle with the included binoculars. Enjoy your morning coffee from the beverage nook. Wake up each morning with the stunning blue of Lake Michigan dazzling from every window. Grill out on the deck or make delicious meals in the upgraded kitchen stocked with modern amenities, stainless steel appliances, and quartzite stone countertops. You can also work remotely from the dedicated workspace. Sit on the deck and grill dinner with the endless views of the water sparkling right in front of you. Relax on the loungers as the sun sets each night over Lake Michigan. On chilly nights, warm up with the electric fireplace or gaze up at the stars around the fire pit. After a day of fun in the water, come back and play some board games from the game cabinet, curl up with floor pillows and watch a movie in the downstairs movie room on Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+ (guests have subscription access), or find a new novel to read in the reading nook. For your entertainment, there is a 65" flat-screen TV in the living room and a second 75" flat-screen TV downstairs in the finished basement movie room. There is a laundry room downstairs as well, with detergent provided.The Bedrooms: The primary bedroom features a luxurious king bed, dedicated office space, and lounge area with spectacular views of Lake Michigan and triple sliders opening onto the back patio.Please note: the primary bedroom does not have an en-suite bathroom. There is an updated full bathroom in the hallway with a custom tile shower. Bedrooms two and three are cozy and snug. They feature queen beds with dressers, mirrors, and USB chargers on the nightstands. Charter a fishing boat, rent a sailboard, or try your hand at boogie boarding.Then head up the bluff to downtown St. Joe’s picturesque river walk and snack on ice cream or a sweet drink while you peruse art galleries, souvenir shops, and clothing boutiques, or explore the cobblestone streets on a surrey bike that seats up to ten people!Other activities include exploring miles of dune trails on foot or rent mountain bikes. Or head back to the house, fire up the grill on the deck, and eat dinner while enjoying another spectacular sunset.Southwest Michigan isn’t only a summer destination. Fall is also a wonderful time to visit, as the leaves transform into glorious shades of yellow and burnt orange, purple and scarlet. Spend your days enjoying fall color and wine tours, hiking, beach-combing, apple-picking, bird-watching, and curling up next to a fire on the bluff, listening to the waves as the sun sets over Lake Michigan.
