Walk 150 steps to the private neighborhood path and find yourself on a picturesque soft sand beach with calm, warm ocean water. With summer water temperatures averaging 70 to 75 degrees, the Southside water here is comfortable for swimming well into fall months thanks to the Gulf Stream pushing warmer currents into this shallow area of Nantucket Sound that’s protected by Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Islands.Such a fun location for kayaking and paddle boarding! From May to October, take advantage of our provided Tandem Ocean Kayak and Stand-Up Paddleboard (both Only with Signed Waiver).
