Family owned home, Walking Distance to Dock Square This family-owned home is the perfect house for a family vacation. This bright and cheery historic home is conveniently located in the village of Kennebunkport -- Dock Square -- which is packed with restaurants and shops. All just a short stroll away, which saves yourself the hassle of parking in town. This really is one of the best features of the house.This house is located on a quiet dead-end street, that only contains about six houses. The house has three bedrooms, a modern, well-stocked kitchen, a bright full bath upstairs, an outdoor shower, and a newly remodeled bathroom and second living area with a TV downstairs. You'll find a cozy living room, dining room with a large bay window, open kitchen with dining counter downstairs. There is a small porch on the front of the house, perfect for your morning coffee. Charcoal and gas grills are in the backyard to cook your outdoor meals. We recently installed two mini-splits, which offers cooling and additional heating on the first floor. They do not cool the bedrooms upstairs.This house has internet and streaming services on the TV. Feel free to add your own while you stay. There is no cable television or live TV.Please note, the town has strict short-term rental rules. We cannot exceed TWO CARS at this property, and noise ordinances are in place to ensure that we remain compliant with our town-issued license: STR21-00302. Any fines that we incur during your stay will need to be paid by the renter. (Note: We have two dogs, one of which is shedding, so if you have pet allergies this house may not be for you.)
