THERE ARE WALKING TRAILS THROUGH THE WOODS AND A TWO PERSON KAYAK IS TIED UP AT THE WATER'S EDGE WHICH CAN BE USED FROM MID TIDE TO MID TIDE. THE COTTAGE IS SIMPLE, COZY AND ONLY 13 YEARS OLD WITH A GAS FIREPLACE TO HEAT IT. IT IS A WONDERFUL RETREAT ONLY AN HOUR TO BAR HARBOR AND HALF AN HOUR TO SCHOODIC POINT.
