And the harbor view is to die for!Recently updated, “On the Harbor” features a blend of original finishes befitting a sea captain’s home, chic décor, and modern amenities to create an immersive, coastal, quintessentially Maine experience. This charming home sleeps eight and has three spacious bedrooms as well as a finished attic loft with two twin beds. The house has three steep staircases and is not suited for those with mobility challenges. There are three full bathrooms – two on the second floor and one in the finished basement as well as a half bath on the first floor.The spacious living room boasts harbor views from every window, a new 43” smart TV, and an adjoining open deck overlooking the harbor. A fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances provides everything you’ll need to enjoy cooking memorable meals. The formal dining room seats up to eight and a breakfast nook seats four. The second-floor primary captain’s bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed and beautiful sweeping harbor views and is complemented by a newly renovated ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower for added convenience as well as a smart TV. Our second queen-size bedroom exudes charm with a hand-painted forest mural, while the cozy third queen-size bedroom features local B&W photography and a painted ceiling. These two bedrooms share a bathroom complete with an original clawfoot tub and shower capabilities.For families with children, a finished basement area provides ample space for entertainment and relaxation with a 55” smart TV and sectional sofa, game table, and record player. Outside, the lower deck offers a serene spot to unwind, while an updated bathroom with a walk-in shower, along with a small kitchenette area equipped for refreshments, ensure every need is met. Additionally, the washer and dryer are conveniently located in this area for added convenience during your stay at On the Harbor.Courtesy quiet hours start at 10 p.m. per local ordinance.Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere on the property.
