Stroll a quarter-mile to reach the Rockport Opera House, several renowned restaurants, and the harbor itself, or walk two blocks in the other direction to join an excursion with Maine Sport Outfitters. Take neighborhood walks into Camden (two miles) or hop in the car to explore Camden Hills State Park (three miles) or Rockland's great restaurants and annual events (seven miles).The spring, summer, and fall are a time for lingering outdoors, whether that means playing in the grass with your kids, rocking in a chair on the porch, or admiring the fall colors from the deck as you dine alfresco and cozy up by the fire table. There's even a two-story sunroom encased in glass, allowing you to take in the view and still feel the warmth of the sun once the weather turns chilly.
