The home is across the street from the Castine Golf Course and two blocks to the shops. There is a large 1/2 acre yard off the back of the house perfect for kids to play and a large deck overlooking the yard and garden to enjoy the sun. The House had a major renovation in the summer of 2013 with a brand new updated kitchen, heating, windows, wiring, and paint. Our home has all the necessary amenities of a modern home (wifi, flat panel tv's, lighting) with the historic molding and charm of Castine. We have 4 bedrooms on the second floor with two more bedrooms on the third floor. Then an addition that houses a separate bedroom and bathroom area just off the main house for a total of 5 bedrooms. Great house for a large family or for multi-family stay in the heart of Castine, walking distance to everything.
