The cottage is a convenient 3 miles from downtown Southwest Harbor. The FREE Island Explorer Shuttle Bus can pick up right from the cottage and transport you and your guests to Acadia National Park, the popular tourist destination of Bar Harbor, or any of Mount Desert Island's "quiet side" towns including Southwest and Northeast Harbor.
