The intention is for one individual but we will consider a partner and/or dog for an extra fee. The central heating system is programmed to a set temperatures for efficiency at around 62 degrees. However, this house retains heat very well and with regular use of the pellet stove, the temperature will maintain into the 70's. We also provide heated electric sheets for additional comfort. - Availability: October - April- Central Maine Community Hospital, 20 min. 10 miles- Saint Mary's Regional Hospital, 20 min. 10 miles- Stephens Memorial Hospital, 15 min, 10 miles- Reliable fast internet speeds for traveling at home business professionals. 500mpsThe spaceYour home away from home! Mechanic Falls is a cute picturesque New England town and it’s keystone to all points Maine,. Enjoy the quiet and peacefulness of small town Maine. Please note that the pool and hot tub are not available during the winter months.Guest accessGuest will be provided a secure access code to enter the home. Self-check-in, no keys required. Main entrance from the side door. Front door is normally used as an exit.First floor includes the kitchen, dining room with a wood pellet stove fireplace, living room, bathroom, laundry and indoor hot tub.The second floor includes three bedrooms with queen beds and a central bathroom.The spacious third floor family room includes a half bath and wet bar. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:Central heat is available between October-May. For efficiency and comfort we electronically program and set the temperature between between 61-63 degrees during the winter months. For your additional comfort, we rotate the bedding on the master bed to soft fleece sheets during the cooler months. You'll melt away in comfort with a dual zoned heated blanket. Each side of the master bed can be individually pre-heated and adjusted to your desired comfort. A pellet wood stove is available to keep the home comfortably warm above the set programmed temperature. Host will shown how to use and maintain the pellet stove. PARKINGParking is located on the left side of the building. During winter snowstorms, snow is plowed into the side yard to make space for parking. Please park in the garage during snow storms or the driveway may not be plowed properly. Shovels. sand and snow melt buckets are located in the garage. Please use these items as needed.ENTRYUse the side/rear entrance to access the home. The rear deck sliding door is used as an exit to the pool deck and has no keypad access. The front entrance is not used frequently.NO SMOKINGThis is a non-smoker property!Smoking any product, including but not limited to cigarettes, vapes, cigars, pipes, cannabis or other products is not permitted in the building or on the property, which includes the exterior of the building or inside a parked vehicle. This policy should be shared with all guests and visitors. A violation will terminate stays immediately and a $600 fumigation and cleaning fee will be assessed to the registered guest. This house rule is strictly enforced for the enjoyment and comfort of all guests, especially guests with allergies. Cleaning is costly but we want refreshing clean air for all to enjoy. If you are a smoker, do not reserve this property.NO PETS (Friendly dogs welcomed)We love our pets like members of our own family. Unfortunately, we do not allow cats or other pets as we respect the well-being and health of all our guests. We clean thoroughly but it requires additional attention when pets enter the property. Please find a sitter and we appreciate your understanding. Dogs are welcomed and must be vaccinated, have tags and leashed when outside. Responsible dog owners must cleanup after their dogs. A small trash can is located near the rear deck for doggie poop bags.MOVING FURNITURETo prevent damages or unintentional liability to yourself, we request that guests not move any furniture in the unit without permission. Please request your host for assistance before moving any items. Ignoring this house rule puts the guests at risk for injury or financially if furnishings are damaged and need to be repaired or replaced. For safety and peace of mind, please ask before taking the risk.CLEANINGOur cleaning fee is based on a courteous guest (e.g., someone who cleans up after themselves, washes the dishes, puts used towels in the hamper or washer, leaves the place as they found it, etc.). This is NOT a hotel and if we discover an unreasonable mess post-checkout, a minimum charge of $100+ for cleaning will be assessed.By booking this unit, you have read, understood, and agreed to all these house rules.
