Aspen Cabin-HOT TUB! *Fireplace* RMNP! Summary:Welcome to the Riverside Cabins! Enjoy a peaceful mountain getaway at our Aspen cabin in the heart of the Colorado Rockies! This King Suite cabin is located just steps from the serene river and is perfect for a couples getaway. This cabin shares a front porch with the cabin next door, duplex style, but has plenty of privacy with your own fenced in back patio for you to enjoy the mountain views and night sky in your hot tub for 2.The Space:Walk into this cabin and you immediately feel the coziness with a gas fireplace. There is a cozy King size bed in the living area with views of the River! Walk from the main area to the kitchen where you will find a refrigerator, gas stove/oven, toaster, microwave, coffee and all the cookware and dishes you need! Enjoy a small dining table set for two in the main living area. If you prefer to grill you can walk out the back door to your own private fenced in patio to enjoy some grilling and fresh mountain air! You will see the hummingbirds are everywhere up here and on a clear night the view of the night sky is spectacular! Fall asleep at night to the sound of the river! The bathroom has been remodeled complete with shower, fresh towels and eco friendly soaps! This cabin as been fully remodeled and ready for you to come and enjoy! It shares a front porch with the cabin next door, duplex style. If you are looking for more places for friends and family to stay please ask about additional accommodations as we do have 9 other cabins throughout the property! We have several outdoor firepits and hammocks for you to relax and enjoy the outdoors!Guest Access:If you are coming from Lyons you will turn left right after county road 80 onto our private drive. Our road is on the RIGHT SIDE of the River. You will head down the road passing the parking lot, your cabin will be the second one on your right. The cabin name is Aspen with the Yellow door and it shares a front porch with Cottonwood Cabin. Please unload your things and follow the one way drive around the property and back to the parking lot. We want to keep things as open and natural as possible. Please feel free to check out our property but please be mindful of other guests. You are able to access this cabin with any type of vehicle although please think about the time of year you are coming and what areas you would like to go. Getting to some of the trailheads may require AWD or 4WD.The Neighborhood:The Aspen Cabin is located on the Riverside Cabins private property right along the St. Vrain River! There are 11 cabins on our property and we pride ourselves in keeping it private and natural so everyone can enjoy the beauty of the mountains. We are less then 8min to Lyons and about 15min to Estes Park, 20min to RMNP and any and all hikes in between! If you are looking to attend one of Lyons many festivals we are a 5min drive to Planet Blue Grass. Estes Park- 15miRMNP- 16miLyons- 5miPlanet Blue Grass- 4miButton Rock Resevior/Longmont Dam- across the river is the road that leads to the trailhead - 1mi Boulder- 22miPeak to Peak Hwy- great for viewing fall colors!- 32 miEldora Ski Resort- 41miMustang Mountain Coaster- 15miWedding Venues in LyonsLionscrest Manor- 4miLyons Farmette- 5miStone Mountain Lodge- 2miGetting Around:You should easily be able to access our property with any vehicle however in winter it is recommened anywhere in the Colorado Mountains to have AWD or 4WD. Our property is plowed and shoveled.Parking- please use the One Way road to get to your cabin to unload your things. Always go the same direction to get back to the parking lot. The road is not wide enough for two vehicles to pass each other in certain spots.Other Things to Note:Wildlife: We are in the mountains and do have wildlife walking through the property regularly such as Black Bear, Elk, Bobcats, Fox and Deer. That being said these are wild animals and we are in their space so please enjoy them but keep a safe distance. Never approach them and please do not leave any food in your vehicle or outside. Lock your car at all times and please throw food garbage in our bear proof container on the property up by the Lodge behind the brown fence labled Trash.Outdoor firepits: We have 5 outdoor gas firepits, please feel free to use them but please remember to turn the propane off when you are done using them.River and Fire Bans- The River is cold mountain run off and is also at times very deep and fast. Please be aware of this and stay a safe distance when enjoying! We will let you know about any fire bans that might come up in the area.WIFI: We do have wifi and it is usually great, however we are in the canyon and sometimes the service can be spotty depending on weather etc.Interaction with Guests:Please contact us at any time and we will be glad to help!
