When you’re not exploring the country outside the gates, you can roam 48 acres of authentic Appalachian terrain right on the property. You’ll find unimproved wildlife trails through the forested hills, large rock formations, a seasonal spring, and a cascading stream.Three bedrooms sleep seven comfortably (4 adults, 3 kids). The spacious new kitchen has everything you need to settle in for a while with all the necessities. Sip your coffee over breakfast, and take in a gorgeous panoramic sunrise over distant hills before heading out for the day. Marvel at the warm glow lighting the valley right from a large sectional sofa as the sun sets. Enjoy a night cap outside and see millions of stars and the sweep of the Milky Way as you haven’t seen it before in Virginia from the deck after the sun sets.New in 2020: We have added a stone fire pit just off the back patio. Now guests can relax in the evenings around a fire regardless of the season, while still enjoying all of our magnificent views!
