Secluded new home a 1 minute drive from a quiet fishing beach, this home is fronted by 10,000 acres of Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge and covered by Marvel Salt Marsh Preserve to the rear. Refuge, water and wildlife views are abundant, with a 25 minute drive putting you in the Lewes and Rehoboth Beach district. Close to the outlets, restaurants and boardwalk...but far enough away to be peaceful as well.We have a relaxing front porch, a screened-in side porch with a picnic table and an open upper-deck for sun-bathing with beautiful panoramic views.This is a bird-lovers paradise. Osprey, herons, eagles, cranes and hawks are abundant and they often loop out over the preserve looking for fish. The eagles, osprey and hawks sometimes land in the trees behind the house, and the herons love to fly over the creek.Slaughter Beach is a quiet, secluded fishing beach. It is not really a swimming beach, with most just sun-bathing, kayaking or floating. There are horseshoe crabs and sea-birds aplenty, and it does have a pavilion, tennis court and restroom facilities at the Fire Company parking lot.This comfy home sleeps 8 adults. The downstairs master bedroom has a queen bed and a beautiful view of the marsh and fields to the rear of the home. Both bedrooms upstairs sleep 2 adults and there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The rear bedroom has a single bed that pulls out to a queen with a fantastic marsh view, and the front bedroom has a full-size bed and unobstructed Prime Hook Views.Master Bedroom-1 Queen BedBedroom 2 -1 Single that pulls out to a QueenBedroom 3 -1 Full sized BedLiving Room-1 Queen sized sofa bed2 Ikea fold up mattresses for children (12 or under I would think)Our internet is 1000 mbps/gigabit service and both the downstairs and upstairs have Google speakers. Just say "Ok Google...then ask your question and it will respond. For example...Ok Google...what is the weather for today? Ok Google...play music. Ok Google, where is the nearest Dunkin Donuts? etc...YouTube TV and streaming services are available, and we do not have a landline phone.
