Family Home, walk to Downtown Overland Park! Our home is two story with a bedroom and full bathroom on the main level (for those who have trouble doing stairs). There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the second level. The kitchen has granite counters and stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped with everything you'll need to cook or just make a cup of coffee. There is a dining room with a large dining room table with a view of the small forest of black walnut trees in the backyard. There is a fenced in section of the backyard which has a small garage. The yard is quite large and extends past the fenced area into a wooded section and a field beyond that. It is almost an acre. The living room has a large flat screen TV . There are games and toys in the buffet under the tv. The second level has a family room with games, books and tv. The master bedroom has a king size bed, an en suite master bathroom with a large shower. There is also a small balcony off the master bedroom. The second bathroom upstairs has a bathtub and shower. The sheets are all 100 percent cotton, washed with "free and clear" detergent. It is in walking distance (5 blocks) of downtown Overland Park's shops, restaurants, and galleries. There is also a movie theater, coffee shop (Homer's), and rec center (Matt Ross) in downtown Overland Park. Thompson Park (one block east of downtown on Santa Fe) has a new playground and a shelter with picnic tables, and is lit up in the evenings. There is a farmers market every Wednesday and Saturday mornings during the summer. Convenient access to I-35.
