Ski the local mountains. Get creative with art, music, words. Or just chill. Depending on the season, deer, wild turkeys, families of quail, mourning doves and bluejays/scrubjays will meander past the windows. EVs welcome! There is a 30 amp outlet on site for charging electric vehicles. Don’t forget your charging cord.Fitness Center: Pleasant Hill center (5 minutes away) has an excellent fitness center named Just Move Fitness. There is also an Italian fine dining restaurant and a micro brewery tavern in that same center. Dog heaven 4 minutes away. A beautiful 4 acre dog park on the edge of Elijah Bristow State Park and the Willamette river.Minimum 3 day bookings. For us The Barnyard is a labor of love. We spent most of 2022 and 2023 renovating the property and getting it ready to share. Our vision is for The Barnyard to become a destination unlike any other in the area. We want it to be a unique place where the world can be shut out behind 14 acres of douglas firs, blackberry bushes and grassy meadows, and yet be close to all that the area has to offer: the University, the mountains, the rivers, the restaurants, and the wineries. We continue to work to make it as comfortable and well appointed as possible without losing the rugged and unfussy nature of the place.Be one of the first to experience this house, barn and forest property. Some of these cameras include floodlights, 2 way audio, and motion detection of people, vehicles and wildlife.Super Easy Checkout: We don't require the usual checkout chores like stripping beds, starting laundry, dishwasher loading, emptying trash, washing windows or re-grouting bathroom tiles.
