Nestled in the wooded landscape, The River Rock Chalet is located in a 1,000 acre residential development called the AuSable Acres in Jay, NY. The Chalet is within a 5 minute walk to the West branch of the AuSable River, and hiking/cross country skiing on about 5 miles of undulating trails are possible from the property. The setting is peaceful with abundant wildlife and nature and void of highway traffic. There is a large grass yard, a patio area with a canopy during the summer and a 4 burner gas grill and fire pit for the cool nights. This vacation home consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms - one with a soaker tub/shower combination and the other with a shower, a living room with a large bar connecting to the kitchen, a separate dining area open to the kitchen, a 50" flat screen TV and a piano. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven/stove, a full size refrigerator, a coffee machine, blender and toaster. Lake Placid is about 20 miles from property, where as Whiteface Mountain is about 10 miles away. The River Rock Chalet is 42 km from Burlington. Lake Placid is 25 km from River Rock Chalet, while Plattsburgh is 37 km away. Plattsburgh International Airport is 34 km from the property.
