Charming farmhouse in peaceful countryside This charming old farmhouse has been newly updated and sits on a working farm with idyllic views of a pond, fields, and farm life right outside it's large windows! The inside is adorned in chic farmhouse style with everything you need to feel at home!Enjoy your morning coffee at the kitchen table or on the patio, both overlooking a peaceful pond, adorable outbuildings, and cows grazing the fields. In the winter, cozy up to a warm fire in the indoor wood stove! In the summer or fall enjoy the outdoors with a fire under a starry sky in the fire pit by the pond, or take a walk at sunset back the lane to view the large sky surrounded by open fields. The house includes everything you need to be at home, including a full kitchen with a dishwasher, washer, dryer, wifi, and tv with streaming capabilities. The main level bedroom has a queen sized bed, while the upstairs bedroom has a king size bed, and a landing on the second floor has a double. There are two bathrooms on the main level, one with a tub/shower and one with a standing shower. Upstairs, children will be delighted by the Kid’s Cubby, a nook the perfect size with toys and decor just for them. Situated in the peaceful countryside, the property is less than 10 minutes to the nearest town with grocery store, restaurants, shops, live theatre and sites. It’s 15 minutes from various popular walking and biking trails. It is 45 minutes drive from Notre Dame and 1 hr. 10 min. drive to various beaches along the shore of Lake Michigan. **This is a working farm with cows, chickens, and our famous friendly farm dog, Dixie who views herself as the concierge of the farmhouse. The house itself is situated beside a main farmhouse which is occupied by the farmer and his wife. There will be farm activity going on outside the main house, but the little farmhouse is completely separate and has its own drive and parking. *Because of the steep stairway, woodstove, and pond, the house may not be conducive to toddlers or very young children not able to navigate these things. Parents use your discretion.
