Rustic, comfortable, secluded, hand hewn, turn of the century log cabin Very private original hand hewn log cabin secluded by itself on an 11 acre wooded lot down a dirt/gravel road approximately 1 mile off of a well maintained State Route. Very rustic cabin with all of the up to date comforts of home. The cabin sleeps 7 people comfortably. The 1st bedroom is located on the main floor and open to the living room with a queen size bed. The second bedroom is on the second floor of the cabin and is open to the stairway with a full size and twin bed. The third bedroom is just off of the stairway and is private with a full size bed. The kitchen and one bathroom are in a walkout stone laid basement. Very important to take into consideration before renting the steps are VERY STEEP to the lovely basement. Our main heat source is a propane Buck stove in the basement operated with a remote control and a set of manually operated gas logs on the main floor of cabin. Electric baseboard heaters for back up. The cabin is cooled by window and portable air conditioners in the summer.
