Lake Salem Waterfront Estate - Sleeps 14 This private 7-acre property provides you with 190 feet of lakefront on the majestic 776-acre Lake Salem. With 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms there’s plenty of room for all your loved ones whether they be family or friend. The long lawn offers up lots of space for yard games and there’s a gentle slope to the water’s edge. The Main house has 4 bedrooms (3 are en suite) and 3 bathrooms and the guesthouse has two Hotel style rooms (Burke and Jay) each with full baths and a laundry off of our Burke room. Derby is located in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom (NEK) where there’s something to do in every season: skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, boating, fishing, swimming, biking. There’s lots to do nearby in Newport, Burke (home to Burke Mountain and a mountain bike haven, Jay (home of Jay Peak Skiing and their famous indoor water park), the VAST snowmobile trails can be accessed right from the property. Kayak/Swim and fish in Salem lake from the summer time dock. Hiking/Biking and all forms of outdoor activity at your feet. Montreal is within two hours and Old Quebec is less than 3 hours away.
