Utopia on Oil Creek (waterfront property) Utopia is a waterfront cabin located on 4 acres overlooking Oil Creek in Derby Indiana. Originally constructed in 1849 and dismantled and moved to its current location today in 2019. It offers a queen bed in the upstairs sleeping loft and a futon on the main floor. It has 1 bathroom with a washer and dryer also. The kitchen is stocked with whatever you need to enjoy your stay. The hot tub is located on the front porch overlooking the grounds and creek. Hot tub is cleaned between stays and will require time to reheat. We have a fire pit off the deck. A charcoal grill is provided but you need to bring your own charcoal. Utopia is a short walk to the Mogan Ridge Trailhead. Utopia is the perfect place for a small family to come relax and enjoy a fishing trip or a relaxing getaway. The Derby Community Center and park is located in Derby just a short drive away. They host many events and also have a boat ramp into the Ohio River. There are basketball courts, swings, slides, a shelter house at the park.
