You have access to all of the following within a 15 minute drive: Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park and Shore Line, Lake Michigan Beaches, Manitou Passage Golf Club, Wineries, Breweries, Distilleries, Downtown Glenn Arbor or Leland (Fishtown).Come visit our peaceful, fun and family friendly retreat on Lime Lake in stunning Leelanau County, Michigan. Recently voted one of the world's most beautiful places, Leelanau County is known for its idyllic countryside, lakes, beaches, roadside fruit stands and beautiful scenery.We are pleased to welcome you to our waterfront home. Located on the East Side of Lime Lake providing amazing sunsets and water is gin clear with depths suitable for wading and swimming (12-24 inches). The water reaches into the high 70 degree temperatures in the Summer. Bring your water toys and enjoy the fishing, tubing, skiing or a sunset cruise. Or relax in the sun, read and soak up the sounds of Michigan. We have a dock with a 10 x 10 foot platform at the end. There is a deck at the house that faces the lake and a fire pit by the water's edge to roast marshmallows or sit by as you view the spectacular stars. Fire wood is included!It is a quick 25-30 minutes to Traverse City (and TC airport) where you can shop, take a sail on a Tall Ship, see a movie, attend one of its many summer festivals, have dinner or simply stroll along its main street. The Interlochen Academy for the Arts with its world renowned music and theater performances is also nearby. Michigan is becoming well known for its wineries, with more than two dozen local wineries nearby.You will not run out of ways to relax or things to do at our special retreat.
