Authentic Tipi in the Blue Ridge Mountains Retreat to the Blue Ridge Mountains and experience glamping in one of our authentic, 24' tipi. Our tipi is custom made in Oregon with hand-painted exterior and interior graphics. They are meticulously furnished and decorated with the comforts of home, and the peace and tranquility that the mountains offer. Blue Ridge Ranch consists of 387 acres nestled between two mountain ridges. Our property features five stocked ponds, a trout stream, and miles of hiking trails. Proceeds from camping benefit our non-profit organization which offers youth camp programs.Our Geo Tipi glamping package includes 2 queen beds with sheets, blankets, and pillows. For those who may need we do offer additional cots. We also provide a propane grill with a stovetop burner, a percolator coffee pot for the grill, an outdoor eating area, a fire-ring, outdoor seating, and a starter supply of firewood. We provide Igloo with 5 gallons of clean water for washing hands, brushing teeth, and washing dishes, and a food/drink cooler. We provide plates, cups, utensils, sharp knives, a cutting board, and dish/hand soap. Each tipi has its own portable toilet that is cleaned and emptied weekly. When you arrive, the cooler we provide will be filled with ice and we will have provided the initial bundle of firewood. Additional ice needed and additional firewood bundles are available for purchase. For cooler weather, we can provide a propane heater and 20 lb. propane tank for rental. We ask that you please not bring your own firewood due to the transmission of wood-related diseases and parasites. Thank you! Note: In the event of cancellation, we are unable to refund the costs of the stay because of our inability to replace the rental due to it being taken off the “available” status once the reservation is secured. However, if you need to cancel, we can reschedule the same number of nights M-Thurs for no additional cost except $50 setup/cleaning. If you need to reschedule Fri-Sun, we can reduce the nightly rental rate by 50%, plus cleaning & taxes because we would otherwise lose weekend revenue which is essential to our small business.
