Located on Fry Creek (a small inlet also known as the Sagle Slough), you are a *very* short paddle or boat ride to Lake Pend Oreille. Fry Creek provides safe boat-dock harboring and is an *outstanding* fishing location for the lake's small & large mouth bass, perch, crappie and Pend Oreille's famous bullhead catfish.On a lake that's 43 miles long, being SO close to town that you can walk or easily bike across the Long Bridge is optimal for the families and groups of friends vacationing together. Make sure you stop by the Farmer's Market on Wednesday or Saturday mornings during the late spring and full summer season and enjoy the wide variety of excellent cuisine and hand-made arts located in the restaurants and shops of town.9 Buck Run features brand new furnishings in a clean, inviting and warm style. A living room with vaulted ceilings and large timber trusses, frame soaring glass windows that connect the beauty of the outdoors to the mind's eye. Dining and kitchen areas open to a large, covered outdoor patio for entertaining and al fresco feasts. Three main level bedrooms are dressed with luxury linens and an upstairs *bonus* bedroom has two Queen beds, THREE custom built-in bunk beds (6 Twin beds total), and a sleeper sofa -- ideal for siblings, cousins, grandkids or a larger ski group where everyone has their own bed!New landscaping includes a green grass yard, rock terracing and a path which leads to a small beach and a private dock. The large hot tub sits right on the back deck overlooking the yard and water!At this price point, 9 Buck Run is one of the best value homes for family reunions and winter ski retreats. Includes hot tub that is drained/cleaned/sanitized/refilled between every reservation, as well as central air conditioning for those hot summer days. The perfect home and location for any season. Book today.**NOTE: Each year, on September 18th OR the 3rd Sunday in September (whichever is later), the Army Corps of Engineers begins dropping the water level of Lake Pend Oreille until ultimately reducing it by a total of 10-12 feet. Around the 4th week in September ALL boat docks and boat lifts on the lake become inaccessible and unusable, as the water completely recedes back from the shoreline leaving just bare ground beneath the docks. The agreement with the Army Corps of Engineers states the lake level must be restored to full pool level each year no later than July 4th, however, the last 10+ years the lake water has been at full pool level around the 2nd or 3rd week in June.**NOTE: This property is equipped with a privacy-safe noise monitoring device. The device measures volume levels (decibels) only, and can alert the property manager if a certain volume threshold is detected. The device does not and cannot record audio.
