A Real Farm Vacation White Rock Farm is a 295-acre working farm in Bennington VT, a three hour drive from New York or Boston. it is part of the scenic and historic Valley of Vermont and surrounded by the Green and Taconic Mountains. A stay at White Rock Farm centers around a farmhouse with five bedrooms that can sleep up to a dozen guests. It’s perfect for families and can accommodate everyone in a large dining room and in a 16 x 32 foot living room, wher you can play games, watch TV, or just relax. It has a modern kitchen with stone countertops and a pellet smoker and gas barbecue immediately outside. From the screened-in porch you can watch gorgeous sunsets. And later, you can enjoy a fire in the fire-pit.From the farmhouse you can stroll or bike around 25-acres of open fields, or go down through the woods to Stratton Brook, all on the property. A hike up our trail to the National Forest boundary gives access to the White Rock overlook and the Appalachian Trail. Our manicured lawn can host corn hole, croquette, or volleyball. And down at the barn you can visit with our cow, goats, and donkey. White Rock Farm is convenient to shopping, restaurants, and many attractions. A five-minute drive brings you to Bennington’s stores, museums, eateries, local produce, craft breweries, and the famous Bennington Pottery. Five-minutes in the other direction gets you to Bennington College, North Bennington, the Robert Frost House and Trail, and a beautiful swimming beach at Lake Paran. Twenty-minutes bring you to Manchester and its outlets, or Williamstown and Williams College, or North Adams and MASS MOCA, or boat rentals at Harriman Reservoir, or kayaking and tubing on the Battenkill. White Rock Farm is a beautiful place with plenty of room and lots to do!
