It’s also open to the kitchen, making for one large entertaining space perfect for large groups.A second living space can be found on the lower level of the home, with a cozy seating area around a flatscreen TV, a dining table for four that’s perfect for card games, and a high-end billiards table to inspire some friendly competition.- Kitchen & Dining -The open kitchen is something out of a magazine, beautifully designed with impeccable, elegant finishes. With white shaker-style cabinets, gorgeous countertops, a floor-to-ceiling tile backsplash, a dramatic custom vent hood, a deep farmhouse sink, stainless steel appliances, and an enormous kitchen island, no detail was spared.Gather around the island, which has bar seating for five, while you serve wine and drinks to your guests. You'll love it here and want to stay forever.The Area:Big Canoe, an 8,000-acre wildlife refuge and gated community nestled within the hardwood forest of the Blue Ridge Mountains just north of Atlanta. We have over 24 miles of hiking and biking trails and plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife, including deer, black bears, and turkeys right within our gates.The community is unlike any other – boasting seven mountains, five lakes, three championship golf courses, tennis and basketball courts, two outdoor pools, an indoor pool, and a first-class wellness center. At the swimming lake, you’ll find a beach, paddle boats, canoes, and stand-up paddle boards, and at the mountain lake, there is a marina where you can fish and rent a pontoon boat.As a renter, you’ll have access to all of the amazing amenities at Big Canoe. Unfortunately, we don’t offer passes with the rental, but you can purchase each amenity directly.We absolutely love our community and are happy to offer personal recommendations so you can experience the best of Big Canoe. We can’t wait to host you!Things to NoteOCCUPANCY:This unit allows to up 8 overnight guests. Feel free to have guests over, however, in compliance with the city regulations, there cannot be more than 8 people overnight in the unit at any given time. Over occupancy may result in eviction.RESORT-LIKE AMENITIES:We have 3 golf courses, 5 lakes, hiking trails, a wellness center, yoga, indoor & outdoor pools, sauna, saline whirlpool, tennis & pickleball courts, bocce courts, Jeep Trail, dog park, beach, water slide.PARKING:The driveway accommodates two-four cars (depending on size).COFFEEMAKERS:This home has both a Keurig and a Drip coffeemaker.FIREPLACE AND FIREPIT:The INDOOR fireplace is gas burning. The EXTERIOR firepit is gas burning.**CLEANING PROTOCOLS** A housekeeping fee will be included on all reservations. This fee will vary in price based on the size of the property. The house is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. Please inspect it at check in and call housekeeping at in the event something is unsatisfactory. As we will send housekeeping back to the property to re-clean the reported areas, no refunds will be given for housekeeping issues. There is no fee within the first 24 hours to return and address the issue. All cleaning is done by professionals who use advanced cleaning practices and disinfectants. We maintain excellent cleaning standards and pay above the living wage standards; 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests, with photos of each room to ensure clean is up to highest standards. We fight fabricated claims for discounts with our extensive documentation on the house and post names to web for the protection of other hosts. :-) This beautiful home is not pet friendly. :-)GATHERINGS:We know you are coming to Big Canoe to have a good time, but out of respect to the other tenants and neighbors, this property has a strict No Party policy.QUIET HOURS:Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons in their unit.SMOKING:Smoking/vaping of any kind is not allowed in the unit. There will be a minimum $250 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in your apartment during your reservation period.MINIMUM AGE:Guests named on the reservation must be 30 years or older. By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 30 or older. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:Check-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is prior to or at 10am. Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply. Guests will be given a keyless entry code prior to check-in.CANCELLATIONS:Cancellation charges are as follows: rental payments are fully refundable until 14 days prior to the reservation arrival date (less credit card fees). If 8-13 days prior to the reservation, 1/2 the total rent and tax can be refunded. Less than 7 days: cleaning and pet fees can be refunded. We will do our best to work with each guest. We have many repeat guests so we try to take care of each and every one.HOST:Making Memories || This home is professionally managed by an extensive team. :)We are locally owned and operated - and work exclusively in Big Canoe.
