This Classic Cottage is the perfect getaway. It has the eloquence of a fine private estate that's nestled in nature's magnificent beauty.The cottage has a grand lay out of yesteryear. There is a formal living room that opens on to twin patios overlooking a beautiful spring fed pond and miles of lush marsh. There is a magnificent ENTERTAINMENT WING, with a jazz piano, a slate pool table, a ping pong table, a large screen TV, a stereo, and its own kitchenette. When it is time to turn in there are FIVE BEDROOMS ALL with their own PRIVATE BATHROOMS. There are three individual Suites, two with king beds and one with an awesome super plush queen. The master bedroom has magnificent views of the pond and marsh. It has separate his and hers bathrooms. In addition there is a large bed room adjacent to the game room with a king & a twin bed. Perfect for teenagers. Also included is a kids room with a twin bunk bed and its own bathroom.This neoclassical 1965 French cottage has boasts 5,400 square feet of space. Many of its original fixtures, woodwork and hand crafted details have been maintained to its original Sea Island luster. It is conveniently located on 14th street between the Marsh and Sea Island Drive.Barron’s named Sea Island #1 on their list of “Best Places for a Second Home'. While its beauty and range of lifestyles and luxury, as well as its status as a “power alley” of influential residents, were noted, Sea Island was rated highest for its value.
