Take a short walk to the beach access or use the bicycles provided by the owners. This spacious home is surrounded by a dune preserve for maximum solitude. You can walk down to the North Pier from the house and watch the fisherman fish off the pier each morning. There is also a small beach access point near the pier that is available to the renters as well, or you can enjoy North Beach Park a mile down the road. North Beach Park has a play area for the kids, pavilions to have lunch and restrooms available as well. There is a ping pong table in the home for those unfortunate rainy days. This vacation home is minutes away from all of your favorite "things to do!"It features 5 bedrooms (2 queens, 4 twins, 1 full, sleeper sofa in the basement, a sofa sleeper in the den and a crib (crib sheet not provided)) and 3 full baths in a three-suite configuration (two bedrooms with bath in each suite). Has an open great room with vaulted ceiling, fireplace, and sliders to the deck for additional seating and a gas grill for a cookout. Lower level family room features sliders to private rear deck plus 2 bedrooms, game room and full bath, Ping-pong, DVD, and VCR with movie library, Children`s` toys and games, High speed cable modem, Beach grass yard, PlayStation provided, and hiking on marked trails through the dunes. This is not a pet friendly cottage.Sorry, on-site hot tub is not available for use during rental periods.Grand Haven is located on the shores of Lake Michigan. We are a quaint, little beach town recently named the "Happiest Seaside Town in America," by Coastal Living Magazine. Here, your family will find Grand Haven State Park, which was voted in the Top 10 Best Beaches in the world by Travel+Leisure Magazine. The boardwalk stretches one and a half miles, beginning at Chinook Pier and ending at the iconic red lighthouse. Historic, affordable, and amusing, the trolley is continually traveling throughout the waterfront and downtown areas dropping you off at any desired location. This property is located on the North Shore, where you can find North Beach Park just minutes away. At the end of the day, grab a blanket to sit on and head to the Waterfront Stadium where the whole family can enjoy the Musical Fountain. This synchronized lights, water, and music show has coined the title "World's Largest." This free show plays nightly at dusk throughout the summer. Lucky for you, all of this is just minutes away and waiting for you to revel in.
