Enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature and the uninhibited star filled nightsky. This humble abode has Bluetooth speakers in and outside, a full kitchen, shower, restroom, 3 beds(one queen bedroom and 2 bunk beds), a sofa, and dining table. Cool drinks and snacks are waiting for you inside. Brew a fresh cup of hot coffee and enjoy the sunrise in total peace and quiet. The Indigo is a 2023 Jayco Jayflight travel trailer equipped with a full kitchen, dining area that doubles as a sleeping area, and two queen sized beds. The top bunk is for storage only. This unit is situated on the quiet, country property of Booker's Dude Ranch in Henderson, Texas, home of the Heritage Syrup Festival. The property is perfect for quiet, private getaways under the stars. Wake up to the sounds of nature with our local bluebirds, mockingbirds, blue jays, and hummingbirds. Every now and again you will see a bald eagle or red-tailed hawk. Bring your horses for a nice ride and rest. Henderson hosts rodeos during the rodeo season and this is a great place for both you and your horse to stretch your legs. We have on-site bbq grills, playground, venue, and outdoor seating. Book a family reunion or corporate event at the venue and have your family or friends stay in the on-site lodging. We are pet friendly and if you come during the holiday season, we will even invite you over for a southern home cooked meal. We offer big truck parking on the upper area of the property as well.OutsideWe are in a very natural setting with lots of trees. Many of the very large pine trees were planted by East Texas horseman Booker T. Washington, who was the original owner of the property. We also boasts large oak trees as well. You will find wildflowers, Red-Tailed Hawks, Blue Jays, Cardinals, Chickadees, Crows, and the occasional sighting of an American Bald Eagle. Pets love to run around the property and check out the scents and sounds. At night, the sky is unobstructed and you can enjoy a full view of the moon, stars, and planets. Our mornings are greeted with a full view of the sun rising up over the trees. Dusk allows you to enjoy full views of the setting sun towards the front of the property.We have grills and you are welcome to bring your own. There is a playground on the far left of the property where children can play. You can also use our volleyball net and mini basketball court. Picnic and cafe tables are spreaded throughout the property and near the RV's. The Kitchen Kitchen equipped with propane powered stove and oven, electric microwave, and full refrigerator and freezer. If you are uncomfortable with propane, we have provided an electric hot plate. Cookware and utensils are provided.Sitting AreaSofa doubles as a bed if needed and is situated right outside of the bedroom.Dining AreaDining area doubles as a bed if needed. Seats 2-4 adults with windows viewing the property. Queen BedroomFull Queen bedroom separated by curtain from main area. Window viewing field and trees. Clothing storage in room with two nightstands. Equipped with plugs for charging electronics.2nd Queen Bed Sleeping AreaBottom bunk is Full/Queen with window and place to charge electronics.BathroomBathroom contains a shower and toilet, sink is right outside the door. Amenities are included; soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, towels, toilet paper. Please only use the toilet paper provided and do not flush any sanitary products or any flushable items except the ones we have provided as anything else will clog the pipes.
