This beautiful property on "old" Saint Teresa beach sits on a bluff overlooking the Gulf and Alligator Point Bay. It's peaceful location is the perfect place to relax, enjoy family and friends, and let the surroundings restore you. Enjoy a glass of sweet tea while watching the sunset with a small ocean view from the front porch, complete with rocking chairs, comfortable outdoor sofa, and a 4 person dining table. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom guest house sleeps 4-6, one bedroom is downstairs and has a queen size bed and in-room sink, the one bathroom on this floor is just outside of this bedroom. The other two bedrooms are upstairs, one has a queen size bed and the other has a king size, both rooms have an in-room sink, armoire for closet space, and a window unit to boost the heating and air system. These two rooms share the bathroom at the top of the stairs. This property has Dish network, but does not have WIFI at this moment. BYOP- Fishing poles you see in pictures are not available with rental. Come stay a while and see all that the forgotten coast has to offer. This property has a 3 night minimum for April and May & 7 night minimum with a Saturday-Saturday booking from June 1st- September 30th. PLEASE ASK ABOUT OUR CANCELATION POLICY. Please inquire about our winter monthly rates. Places to visit in the surrounding area include: Tate's Hell Nature Trail, the Historic Carrabelle Lighthouse and Museum, Camp Gordon Johnston World War II Museum, Panacea's Gulf Specimen Marine Lab (with touch pools for children) and the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve. Various activities are available including Dog Island Ferry excursions, charter fishing, kayaking, birding, cycling paths across the road and guided boat tours at Wakulla Springs. There are a variety of local seafood eateries and a local supermarket. Also close by is the beautiful St. James Bay Golf Course designed by Robert Walker. The St. MarksWildlife Refuge is a great outing for the entire family. Located a little over an hour from Tallahassee and only twenty minutes from St. George Island and Apalachicola, this retreat can be tailored to your own adventurous spirit.Come and discover the true meaning of "The Forgotten Coast"!
