This sweet little schoolhouse served its school district from 1869 to 1966, and then went on to be a gathering place for the community. In 2016, the schoolhouse was renovated into living space. In 2023, a complete update brought it into the beautiful, modern, cozy retreat that it is today. There is so much history to be discovered here!Stay in the peace of the prairie countryside while taking part in so much available to do in close proximity! We provide a list of things to do in the neighborhood overview below, and in detail in the guidebook provided at the home.Enjoy the large fire ring during your stay! Bring backup firewood to enjoy the night sky next to a warm fire.The schoolhouse features one bedroom with a queen bed on the main floor and two loft bedrooms that are also each equipped with a queen bed. Loft bedrooms are accessed by ladder-stairs and are not suitable for small children or those with mobility issues.There are two full baths, a dining table that seats six, a breakfast bar for two, and a full kitchen. The living room is equipped with a smart tv that allows you to log into all your streaming services (and automatically logs you out on check-out day), a blue ray player, games, an electric fireplace, and complimentary wifi.Washer and dryer on premises for your use.** Traveling can be unpredictable, and life doesn't always go as planned.
