A private wooden boardwalk leads right from the deck over the dunes (look for turtles and rabbits!) and down to the beautiful sands of Ponte Vedra Beach. After your beachcombing, surf fishing, or boogie-boarding, step under the outdoor shower and leave the sand behind before settling onto the deck to dry off and enjoy the balmy air.Stretch out in a lounge chair, get comfortable on the built-in bench, or use the new gas grill and dine alfresco at the casual table in the shade beneath the overhang. The deck is big enough for your whole group to enjoy some fresh salty air! The view is ever-changing and always beautiful, and the bird-watching is amazing – everything from the pelicans dive-bombing into the waves to catch fish to the exotic wildfowl of the dunes to the water birds that dance along the edge of the surf.The deck will undoubtedly become your favorite spot at Ocean’s Edge, and there’s nothing like slipping out in the moments before the sun rises to watch the spectacular show on the horizon.
