The Beach Break-Walk to the Ocean on West Oak Island Come enjoy a quiet Oak Island vacation at this mid-century modern beach house. Perfect location for families with walkable, low traffic access to the beach. The public beach and sound boat access points are a little over 500 feet from the house. Relax and listen to the ocean from the front porch of this third-row house. The west end of the island is primarily residential houses with only a few small condos mixed in. Historic Southport and Wilmington are nearby (25 min and 40 min respectively) with a little over an hour drive to Myrtle Beach.Article on Oak Island: The house was purchased in the summer of 2017 and is ready to rent now. I will be updating the decor over time with pictures to reflect changes. The existing carpet in the pictures has been replaced with vinyl plank flooring.Linens/towels are provided and included in the cleaning fee.
