Beautiful water-view home close to boat ramp, fishing and Gulf of Mexico. Welcome to "Sealaxation House". Beautiful canal-side, two-story home. You'll feel like you're in a treehouse. Property boasts avocado and mango trees along with many lush palm trees. House is on canal with dock large enough to park your boat up to 26ft long. The boat lift is not for guest use. It's just 3 streets over to Bokeelia Boat Ramp and 10 min. down canal to Jug Creek Marina where you can buy ice and bait as well as snacks for the day. From there it's about a 15-minute ride to Boca Grande Pass for some of the best Tarpon fishing in the world, or to Cayo Costa just to relax on the beach. The Gulf of Mexico is just beyond Boca Grande Pass. *Our house sustained minimal damage from hurricane Ian. We are 100% operational and are welcoming guests to come back or visit for the first time. Several restaurants are now open on Pine Island and Matlacha, as well as Jug Creek Marina and a few other bait shops. Publix, Winn Dixie, and several businesses have re-opened for your convenience.If you are a returning guest you will notice a bunch of improvements: new metal roof and carport roof, newer laundry facility, new engineered hardwood flooring on main level upstairs, new remote controlled ceiling fans in kitchen and on upper deck, new fridge, new dining room light. We look forward to sharing this fun house with both new and returning guests.y*MAIN HOUSE* is upstairs with 2 large bedrooms, including one with a king bed and one with 2 twin beds with a queen pull-out sofa in the spacious living room. The king bed has storage drawers underneath and the bedroom closets are huge. There is a full bathroom with walk-in shower. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities and the dining table easily seats 6. Living room has a queen sleeper sofa, love seat and comfy chair. The house has a nauti/tropical feel in every room. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail on the screened-in deck overlooking the canal. There's a full sliding glass wall from living room to deck for those balmy winter evenings. A set of glass sliders takes you from the dining room to the deck. There are 2 HD Smart TV's along with WIFI for all your streaming needs. House is fully equipped with hurricane shutters should the need arise. There is a reading nook, as well as games and toys for kids of all ages. A fold-down desk in dining area can be used for work or arts and crafts. There are ceiling fans in all rooms.**PLEASE NOTE:THE 2 BEDROOMS AND BATH ARE UP THE STAIRS. ONLY the 1 BEDROOM AND BATHROOM "Captain's Quarters" are on ground floor for an additional fee.***DOWNSTAIRS*Sit downstairs in the breezeway and watch the sun go down while sipping something cold by the canal. The electric awning may be deployed to cool you down while watching the sunset. There is ample lighting for nighttime dining. Grill your fresh catch and serve right there by the water. The ceiling fan will help keeps the bugs away. Outside dining table and chairs are provided.There is a separate laundry room on ground floor with a washer and dryer. Also in the laundry room is a freezer for your ice, bait and fresh catch as well as a rod holder.Bring your boat up to 26 ft. and park it right behind the house. There is a large dock box for storage since the garage is not accessible to guests. Guests have been catching snapper, catfish, trout and even a juvenile goliath grouper, as well as snook right from our dock. Keep an eye out for a manatee or porpoise gliding by.There is a fish cleaning station at the dock right out back with freshwater wash down. 2 hoses are there for guest use. There is electric at the dock as well as lighting. A gas grill, 2 kayak racks and a double bicycle rack are provided in the breezeway.Winn Dixie is just passed Pine Island Center. Publix is now open just before you turn at the 4-way stop onto Stringfellow Rd. Just minutes to restaurants, such as Lazy Flamingo and Captain Con's Fish House at the North end of Bokeelia. St. James City has begun to heal from Hurricane Ian. Phuzzy's, LowKey Tiki and Froggy's are open. Blue dog and Micelli's in Matlacha have reopened. Cabbage Key is also open.Our neighbor, Captain Robert "Bobby" Dumont is an inshore charter fishing captain. Feel free to contact him for a fishing trip.
