Eichler Mid Century Modern Designer Pool/Jacuzzi Welcome to the Eichler House, Thousand Oaks. Mid century modern gem with pool, jacuzzi, fireplace and built in BBQ. Perfect for entertaining as well as quiet get away for large families or group of friends. Close to hiking trails, shopping centers and 30 minute drive to the beach. Fully remodeled with modern amenities. Features an atrium and open floor plan with floor-to-ceiling windows to create a seamless connection of indoors to outdoors. The house backs to open space for ultimate privacy! Our Eichler house was designed by famous architect Claude Oakland . It features post and beam structure with floor to ceiling glass walls, tongue and groove ceilings with original stain. The floors are concrete and original terrazzo. The walls are mahogany and Eichler siding. Kitchen and bathrooms are renovated to fit todays amenities with original design in mind. The house features and internal atrium. Backyard features a salt water pool and over sized jacuzzi. Pool has a Baja entry and can be heated. Jacuzzi is oversized and can be used all year around. Fire pit is gas operated. Backyard also features a gas BBQ with counter, sink, outdoor shower and a modern tree house. We are situated in a quiet neighborhood of Thousand Oaks on a large private lot that backs to open space. There is plenty of wildlife that will stop by and say "hello," such as rabbits, birds and even our neighbors goats! The evenings are great for stargazing out by the pool or snuggling up by the outdoor fire pit. If you love to cook, then you will enjoy the Jennair built in fridge and Jennair stove. Traveling with little ones can be... interesting. There is a kid bed with toys. Also a pack n play and highchair. We love to entertain and are always available to help with special occasions or recommendations for you trip. Happy to announce our house was featured on CA-Modern Magazine on Spring 2021 issue! You have access the the entire property except for the garage. The front door has a keyless entry code so there is no need to pick up keys from us or the house assistant. I try to give my guests as much space as possible, however, I can be reached by either text or cell phone throughout your stay. The most special attribute of this residence is that it is 1 of only 100 Eichler homes in Ventura County. Joseph Eichler is an acclaimed developer and well known for his California Modernistic style. Aside from being a historic gem, it is centrally located. - 5 mins from the Thousand Oaks Mall, Movie Theaters, Wildwood Park, Cal Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks Blvd shops and restaurants - 10 mins from Westlake Village and lake - 30 mins from Malibu and Zuma Beach - 45 mins from Los Angeles and Santa Monica and Santa Barbara The pool is open all year round, however, there is an additional daily heating fee of $150 a day. Jacuzzi heating is free! There is an extra 20 dollars a day change if Tesla charging is used. Tesla charging can only be used hours between 9pm and 8am since we are in time of use plan. No exceptions.
