Serene Spacious Log Home-San Juan Mountain Views-Pet-Friendly County Permit #STR2022-068 This 2,600 square foot 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom log home sits on just over 1 acre and is the perfect private getaway, yet it is only 3 miles from the town of Ridgway and a scenic 40 mile drive to the town of Telluride.With two living spaces and ample room for everyone, this home is perfect for a group. The home offers a vaulted ceiling open floor plan on the main level living area, a well-appointed kitchen and flat-screen TV. The Primary Ensuite bedroom, located on the main level, features patio doors leading to the private deck, a comfortable queen-size bed and an Ensuite bathroom.The lower level offers a comfortable seating area with a flat-screen TV, mini-refrigerator and a mini bar. There are two bedrooms, each with queen beds and a full bathroom. The second queen bedroom offers patio doors that lead to a private yard perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or Alpen Glo in the evenings. This space also features an enclosed area perfect for your pups. A Queen sized Futon is provided on the lower level, as well.Bed Configuration: Primary En-suite Bedroom Queen bed (main level)Queen Bed, 2nd Bedroom (lower level) Queen bed, 3rd Bedroom (lower level)Queen bed, Secondary Living Space (lower): Futon. Guests are welcome to park up to one regular sized vehicle in the garage and any additional vehicles may park in the driveway. Please do not block shared main entrance. NO RV's or trailer's allowed.This home is pet-friendly. Guests are welcome to bring up to 2 well-behaved dogs. The pet fee is $40.00, per night/$250.00 maximum. Please confirm that you will be traveling with a dog(s) when you book your reservation. Please review and follow the Pet Policy.About the Area: Nestled at the San Juan Gateway mountain range, Ouray, CO offers year-round outdoor activities and has everything you could want during your Colorado mountain vacation any time of year. In the spring, summer, and fall months visitors enjoy exploring, riding ATVs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding excursions, and fishing. In June, every Thursday evening from 6pm to 9pm, visitor's love to attend the free Ouray Mountain Aire Music Series concerts hosted at Fellin Park.During the winter season bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, Downhill or Nordic skis and enjoy a wide variety of winter activities. Telluride Ski Resort is a scenic 60-minute drive from Ouray and offers top five downhill ski runs according to Conde Nast. Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. After a day of adventure enjoy a variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, unique shops and the ever-popular Ouray Hot Springs. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
