MSC is on a foundation and nestled amongst the trees in Packwood, WA. Historic Packwood is situated in between Mt. Rainier, Mt. Saint Helens, Mt. Adams, surrounded by the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, and at the very center of Washington's White Pass Scenic Byway (Hwy 12), 'Playground of Volcano Country.' It is 10 miles from the southeast entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park and 19 miles from the White Pass Ski Area. Mountainside Chalet's coziness will charm you. Drift into dreamland on a comfy mattress, with plump pillows and snugly, warm blankets. Immediately outside is a deck w/private hot tub & outdoor table & chairs, for enjoying fresh alpine air. Behind the house is a wonderfully wooded area and Hall Creek tempting a visit, along with the neighborhood elk.
