Recently remodeled inside and out.The property is located close to shopping. We have numerous grocery stores within 5 miles and a fresh seafood store within walking distance. Also within walking distance is "The Waterfront Pub and Cafe", a beachy quaint and friendly restaurant with great seafood, specials and occasionally some live music. This charming place is accessible by boat or kayak! Across the street from the Waterfront Cafe, you will find the Drunken Mullet has everything from wings to Prime Rib. If your tastes lean toward more upscale eating choices, "Brian's Place" has a fabulous mixture of Cuban/Italian Fusion entrees, incredible desserts, and periodic local live music with dancing on the outdoor patio. "The Lazy Lizard" restaurant is also fantastic, boasting a huge outdoor boat shaped bar with numerous tables overlooking the water. The restaurant has a unique blend of both upscale dining choices, or sit outside by the water, watch the turtles surface for food, and relax and enjoy a hamburger and a beer. Turtle watching is a must at the The Lazy Lizard and you may even spot a gator as well as see amazing other birdlife! These are photo ops! The Lazy Lizard also has live music with local bands jam sessions at least once a week and plenty of space to kick off your shoes and dance the night away.Other restaurants within walking or biking distance is "Zig Zag Scallops" where you will find fabulous food at reasonable prices. This quaint restaurant is located close to the boat ramp, accessible by boat and has a full outdoor waterfront deck to watch the Pelicans and Shrimp Boats head out to the Gulf each evening! Weekly live music is usually there too! If you are a veteran, VFW Post 9236 is within walking distance and it has a cool outdoor deck on the water.
