The master bath is marble throughout and features mosaic flooring and an over-sized soaking tub overlooking the river. Upstairs there is a second bedroom and small sitting room with an additional TV and small music and movie library .The kitchen is fully equipped and adjoins an elegant dining room. The living room has a gas log fireplace , artists library, tv and comfortable seating.The living room opens on to a large deck overlooking the river, equipped in spring , summer and fall with a gas grill and outdoor lounge set. The cottage is a short 10 minute walk to the Appalachian trail for hiking and bird watching and is close to the beautiful twin lakes. In winter months down hill and cross country skiing are close by and there are also many nearby trails for snowshoeing. Just a 10 minute drive to the famed Music Mountain which offers summer long concerts of jazz and classical music. The Cottage is close to the historic villages of Lakeville and Salisbury which both offer fine dining and antiquing and is approximately a 30 minute drive to all the Berkshire attractions. Enjoy day trips to Tanglewood, Shakespeare and CO, Berkshire Theater CO, Jacobs Pillow, Berkshire Botanical Gardens and the Museums. Lime Rock Racetrack is a 10 minute drive. The cottage is fully equipped with all amenities including hi speed wireless internet, cable TV's and upstairs music system. Daily housekeeping service available , weekly housekeeping service required.
