Our home offers a relaxing and spacious get-away, ideal for making new memories with grandchildren or a reunion with old friends. With 300 feet of private frontage on Beach Pond that straddles the CT-RI border, you won't want to leave this mile long spring-fed lake, ideal for swimming, boating, and fishing. An open floor plan supports five bedrooms (1 king, 2 queens, 1 twin and 1 single (each with trundles to sleep 6 singles in total), four and one half baths; a high-ceiling living room with full views of the lake and immediate access to the large deck; a dining room to seat 10 adjacent to a screened-in sun porch; a spacious and well-equipped kitchen and sitting room w/ a 55" TV. A sprawling lawn sits between the home and the lake and can accommodate a variety of lawn games. The property's amenities include two kayaks, a canoe, an 8' raft, a ping-pong table (in the finished basement), board and lawn games, and a gas grill. Voluntown is central to the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods casinos, and to the many restaurants and attractions in Mystic and Stonington. We are 35 minutes from the Rhode Island beaches and home to several great golf courses.New in 2023: A refinished deck to enjoy a morning coffee or a meal al fresco, new soft rugs in the kitchen and dining area, brand new boat docks, and a beautiful stone patio with Adirondack chairs overlooking the lake!
