There is also horse riding a few miles away.Town is a few blocks big - walking is the best public transport! While you can walk to anything in downtown Crestone this is a very remote area without public transportation so you do need a vehicle.Crestone is one of the most beautiful places to be for hiking and spiritual adventures! There are many hikes with 14,000 ft peaks and for all levels. Also, the peaceful majestic beauty attracts folks from all over the world that come to attend one of the many retreats at the dozen or so spiritual centers. A few miles away are horse riding/stables. 30-45 minutes away are Joyful Journey Hot Springs - famous for it's healing waters.
