In the summer, pick your own blueberries from the cultivated blueberry farm, bring them on in and bake yourself a pie, or enjoy the abundant raspberries and other farm fruits on the property. Only 12 minutes to Okemo allows year round outdoor entertainment for the skier, golfer, or mountain biker. And if you have a small boat, pop it in the nearby lakes for a day of fishing and relaxing or tubing and swimming. Butternut falls is right near by, as are a host of great restaurants and farm stores. We are close to the Vermont Summer Festival horse show in Dorset for summer fun. (45 mins) Or enjoy Okemo's ropes course, summer concert series, or Bromley's summer line up. The home itself is a modern replica of an 1830's farmhouse, so we boast all the modern amenities, with antique charm. The house is newly appointed with curated furnishings, art, and accessories appealing to the modern farmhouse esthetic. In the main house, we have three bedrooms, two with comfy new king beds, and the third with 4 twin bunks. )Possible to add bonus room with additional king).Our large custom designed farm table is the perfect setting for large family dinners, and the landscape would lend itself to a small party, like an anniversary or birthday, set in the mountains, with privacy and beauty in abundance.
