Our home is set on 3, fenced acres of aspen groves, pine trees and includes a play set for evenings spent outside.Although we are new to hosting on VRBO, this property has a 4.9 star rating with 31 reviews on another popular, short-term rental platform. We are trusted hosts and we know you’ll love your time at our home! More about the home and outdoor space surrounding it…Our home boasts two living and relaxing areas to watch the birds, deer, and chipmunks wandering around the property. A massive dining table seats 12 with an additional eat-in kitchen table and benches. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked, perfect for preparing meals with friends and family.The primary bedroom has a king bed, cozy seating area, desk for working remote and sliding glass doors to enjoy all of the birds and wildlife in the backyard. The ensuite bathroom has a separate shower with stone floor and clawfoot tub for relaxing after a long day on the trails. One of the queen guest bedrooms has its own ensuite bathroom and the other has beautiful bay windows and a desk. Upstairs are two bunk rooms (one is accessed through the others - with a door between them) featuring two full over full bunk beds each with a twin trundle bed underneath. The Back bunk room has a futon and tv to allow children their own space to unwind after outdoor adventures. Downstairs is a separate room with a pool and foosball table and a cabinet with lots of games and puzzles to enjoy as a family or with your friends!Outside is a quiet, fenced in three acre yard. There is a playset for the kiddos, an outdoor dining table that seats 6, a propane gas grill, and a propane first all for enjoyment of the majestic mountain mornings, afternoons, and evenings. You'll love the quiet the yard has to offer at any time of day and the bright stars and Milky Way views at night. You'll quickly lose count of all of the shooting stars you'll see on a clear summer night. Situated just a half of mile from over 100,000 acres of the Buffalo Peaks Wilderness Area and San Isabel National Forest, this is a great home to launch into all of the wild and wonderful activities in the area, including snowshoeing, biking, rafting, cross country skiing, hiking, fishing (world class ice fishing and fly fishing within miles!), wandering, kayaking, dirt biking, four-wheeling, bird watching, and any other activity you enjoy in the great outdoors. We are also just 15 minutes from the cute town of Buena Vista, 20 minutes from Fairplay and less than an hour from Breckenridge.
