In the evening, cook a meal, relax by the fire, soak in the hot tub, play board games or stargaze with our telescope!The spaceFree Parking | Free Wifi | Free Bundle of WoodThe cabin is on an acre lot with views of Golden Gate Canyon State Park and at 9,000 feet high! The place is surrounded by pine trees and a few aspens. Sometimes moose, deer and elk come and visit. You will definitely see birds such as hawks, ravens, woodpeckers and owls to name a few. We have a plant guide for those who want to see what plants grow around here. The place iso on a private 1 acre lot. The hot tub deck was made for privacy from neighbors.Cabin is 1200 square feet plus 500 square feet for the decks.Sustainable features: Organic teas, coffee, spices. Organic sheets and towels. Upcycled furniture and plates. Non-toxic soaps, shampoos and conditioners. We provide reusable water bottles with artesian well water - good for the body and soul. We recycle. We provide microfiber towels to clean up after yourself. The cabin is cleaned with non-toxic cleaning products as much as possible. We want to be as sustainable as possible.Please note that we intentionally do not have TV in the cabin, to encourage slowing down and connecting with yourself, your loved ones, and nature. However, there is good WiFi throughout the cabin, along with a desk in each bedroom. There is also a high quality speaker in the living area for streaming your favorite music. This is a magical retreat place for the right people who want body and soul rejuvenation.Living room: Sofa, love seat, chair and fireplace with free bundle of wood.Kitchen: fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, coffee grinder, french press, hot water kettle, plates, bowls, cups, mugs, silverware, serving platters and bowls, blender, teapot, spices, oil, tea, condiments, and just about everything you need to cook and serve a delicious meal.Dining area: dining table that seats six and spotting telescope.Bedrooms: Each bedroom was consciously designed with a healing plant or tree theme, and is outfitted with luxuriously soft, organic linens, as well as a yoga mat for your use. Please note, you need a 4 wheel drive vehicle from October-May. There are two parking spaces at the top and a 50 feet walk down a sloped driveway to get inside. If it is snowing please park at the top. 3rd parking spot is in the driveway, and guests MUST back into the driveway so you can get out face forward. If not, you will get stuck. Parking in driveway is at your own risk.Other things to noteHot tub and wood-burning stove are use at your own risk. Outside is slippery and icey when wet. Hot tub is not suitable for children under the age of 8. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult. Keep children and dogs 6 feet away from fire place and must use child safety gate.Wild animals on property - moose in particular. Keep your distance. If you just arrive, stay in your vehicle until they leave.9,000 feet high in altitude. Guest must drink proper water, bring Tylenol or even Gingko Biloba to help with altitude acclimation.Please note that the cabin is at 9,000 feet in high altitude and slightly remote. Mountain living is different than city life. Once in a while the power might go out from high winds, there might be a foot of snowfall, the wifi might turn off or animal may show up in the yard. Please be patient while things get resolved. It always will. Stop. Enjoy the stars. Make a fire. Play games. Relax.
