Historic Satanski School This brand new addition is attached to the original schoolhouse for the Town of Cooperton, built in 1893 and located in what is now called Satank, a quiet neighborhood in Carbondale. This beautiful, contemporary, light filled apartment is a short bike ride (or 3 minute drive) to downtown Carbondale. Bikes are provided for our guests and the bike path is a lovely ride to town where there are quaint shops and excellent restaurants. Carbondale is located in the beautiful Roaring Fork Valley and close to the Crystal River Valley as well. We are a 30 minute drive to the following world renowned ski areas: Aspen Mountain, Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands and Snowmass Mountain.
